Human Resources (HR) Generalist

As the Human Resources Generalist, you will handle various responsibilities in managing the daily HR-related needs, including all human resources projects and processes for the company. You will fulfill various necessary HR tasks, including all tasks associated with hiring, firing, training, and company education procedures for new or existing employees. You will also manage and maintain all employee data.

 

To succeed, you should have:        

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Project Management Software

 

Your responsibilities as the HR Generalist will include:        

  • Policy Coordination: Work with the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) to develop and implement HR policies and procedures and advise employees on compliance.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage job descriptions, oversee the hiring process from recruiting to onboarding, and coordinate with IT to ensure new hires are adequately equipped.
  • Employee Management: Oversee the distribution of offer letters, employment contracts, employee discipline, and terminations, ensuring all procedures and paperwork are completed.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Research industry trends to set compensation, manage benefits enrollment, and coordinate with the PEO to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Learning and Development: Organize training for new hires, manage ongoing employee learning opportunities, and conduct performance reviews for HR staff.
  • Employee Engagement: Facilitate HR-related inquiries, promote employee engagement through meetings and check-ins, and handle staff complaints and conflicts.
  • Records and Communication: Oversee HR record-keeping, manage HR schedules, and ensure effective communication through correspondence and company meetings.
