Program Manager, Enterprise Program Management

We are currently seeking a Program Manager, Enterprise Program Management to join our team.  

This position is responsible for overseeing enterprise wide programs across different internal business units and external vendors/partners to ensure successful delivery of time, within scope, budget, and in alignment with the Enterprise Strategy.  The role requires strong leadership, business acumen, communication, and organizational skills as well as the ability to manage complex initiatives in a dynamic environment to achieve corporate strategic goals and objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads scope definition, roadmap creation and monitoring of projects within a program portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and goals.
  • Educates stakeholders and identifies change agents to champion the strategic program objectives and business outcomes to foster alignment and engagement. 
  • Manages project scope, change requests, stakeholder expectations, and facilitates decision-making to resolve conflicts and maintain project alignment.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, customers, vendors, and internal teams to foster collaboration and support program initiatives.
  • Facilitates the creation of OKRs, KPIs, and financial metrics, to measure program performance and provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Identifies program risks, gaps and barriers to execution efficiency and provides visibility and mitigation strategies to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Navigates dependencies between cross-functional teams and organization priorities.  
  • Influences and proactively coordinates communication of plan progress with regular status updates to business leaders and project team members.
  • Provides a consistent and exemplary internal and external experience across departments and external vendors with a results-driven approach and balanced emphasis on culture development, customer-centricity, communication planning, change management and informed decision making.
  • Provides guidance on program management best practices

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, project management, or related field required. 
  • Five to seven years in program management, change management, business transformation or project management is required.  Knowledge of the PEO industry, HR/Payroll domain and or HCM technology is desirable. 
  • Experience in collaborating with and supporting diverse business units and vendors/partners in the execution of Enterprise-level strategic plans.
  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, practices, and methods related to program management.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships as evidenced by leadership of cross-functional projects and programs.
  • Skills in the areas of project management, prioritization, teamwork, time management, conflict resolution and general decision-making.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic and critical thinking skills to identify interdependencies between issues and outcomes.
  • Aptitude to accept complex assignments, analyze problems, and generate effective solutions.  Ability to apply a systematic method to problem solving, analyze data, and recommend strategies that support positive business results.
  • Skills in the areas of project and change management, persuasion, influence, negotiation, leadership, conflict resolution and decision-making.
  • Success and experience in execution and deployment of business strategies, including the management and measurement of deliverables.
  • Customer service experience in a team environment.   Ability to communicate with all parties involved by using different media including Presentations, Email and Video Conference.
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas clearly and concisely, orally, and in writing, at a level necessary for satisfactory job performance; establish working relationships and interact effectively with a wide range of people; work independently with limited direction; and maintain effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, relevant project/program management tools and demonstrated ability to learn other application programs as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to develop and lead projects in a cross-functional team environment.
