Salesforce CPQ Analyst


We are currently seeking a Salesforce CPQ Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for administration of the Salesforce CPQ product. This includes Quote-To-Cash, Configuration, Product Catalogue and Pricing to Quoting functionality.  This position will collaborate closely with all sales units, including Workforce Optimization, BPS Business Units, Channel Partners, Legal, Finance, and Technology, and use feedback from these sources to drive continuous improvement and enhancement of the Salesforce CPQ offering.


Responsibilities:

  • Works with all Business Units, project managers and development teams during the design, development, test, training and launch phases of the development and release cycle.
  • Works closely with Legal to ensure inclusion of appropriate contract terms and conditions as well as updating any documents as needed.
  • Manage CPQ Configuration, Pricing to Quoting functionality, and collaborating with Finance on Product Catalogue. 
  • Ensures all product pricing is correct and up to date. 
  • Provides input into design, software development, software integration testing, and release of the final product.
  • Assists in defining, developing, and implementing workflow processes and procedures.
  • Manages small projects independently through all aspects of the product lifecycle, including business and product requirements, process workflow, functional specifications, technical design, use cases, test cases, and training materials.
  • Assists QA in understanding the new feature/functions. Performs User Acceptance testing and prioritizes fixes. May participate in final QA testing and deployment.
  • Ensures all customer and quality requirements are satisfied in the product delivery.
  • Assists in the planning and presentation of training materials.
  • Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.
  • Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Company goals.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.
  • Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, MIS, or Computer Science is required. 
  • Three to five years in the product management field or related experience is required.  Salesforce and/or Salesforce CPQ experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience and work in a high-tech environment are preferable.  Software development knowledge is a plus.  
  • A working knowledge of Salesforce and/or Salesforce CPQ module.
  • Sound knowledge of system design, development, and effective testing methods.
  • Must possess excellent customer skills and organizational skills, ability to learn new concepts quickly and be a self-starter.   
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment. 
  • Exceptional writing skills specifically relating to creating user documentation.
  • Must demonstrate analytical and statistical skills.   
  • Leadership skills are necessary. 
  • Capable self-starter able to work independently, be innovative, and actively seek new or better methods of competence. 
  • A positive team player with a sense of urgency directed toward the provision of successful solutions for specific projects.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and apply company policies, objectives, and procedures including developing, organizing, and implementing new policies and procedures; planning and organizing project management; appropriate methods and means of dealing with human behavior situations in a variety of business circumstances including both Company and client situations; dealing constructively with conflict.
