Senior Client Marketing Manager


We are currently seeking a Senior Client Marketing Manager to join our team.


This position is responsible for deeply understanding the client lifecycle, and for developing marketing strategies and programs that improve the client experience.  This may include programs that increase client retention, satisfaction, and value at different stages during the client journey. This position requires extensive interlocks with multiple client stakeholders across the business. This position also serves as a mentor and example for other team members supporting continuous improvement initiatives and coaching from department leadership.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Observes and deeply understands the client lifecycle, from prospect to on-boarding to adoption to renewal to advocacy.  Becomes an expert in the client experience across all stages of the journey.
  • Identifies areas across the client lifecycle where marketing can improve the client experience, and which of those areas have the biggest impact to the business.  
  • Establishes strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to gather data and insights on the client experience and achieves alignment on client marketing priorities.
  • Executes client marketing programs that will improve the client experience and have a positive impact on business objectives.
  • Works with key stakeholders across the business to build, execute, and measure the effectiveness of those programs.
  • Collects, analyzes, and communicates client and industry data to help drive strategic program development, execution, and optimization.
  • Tracks and analyzes results of all client marketing programs, regularly optimizing the programs based on data and feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Leads client events and client brand ambassador initiatives as needed.
  • Serves as a mentor and example for other team members, a first-line peer resource, supporting ongoing training and development of team, continuous improvement efforts and initiatives, and coaching from department leadership.
  • Maintains commitment to the successful achievement of team and organizational goals through a desire to participate with and help other members of the team.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.  MBA is preferred.
  • Five to seven years of B2B marketing experience is required, ideally in support of client marketing programs.  
  • A proven level of business acumen consistent with the level of exposure is required.
  • Demonstrated campaign management experience and skills, preferably in a B2B technology or services industry.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Effective problem solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Skilled in relationship management with both partners and clients.
  • Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.  
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs and demonstrated ability to learn other computer applications as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.   
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics is preferred.
