Serves as subject matter expert for Corporate payroll personnel related to wage attachments and trains all new employees for the group.  Provides guidance, as needed, to group and other areas of the company on the regulations which govern the administration of child support orders, federal tax levies, state tax levies, student loans, bankruptcies, creditor garnishments, etc. 

  • Sets priorities and oversees the flow of work relating to wage attachments for Corporate payroll personnel.
  • Conducts wage attachment training for new Corporate payroll personnel.  In addition, assists in education of field payroll personnel on the garnishment function.
  • Implements State-required ACH child support payments working with the State agencies and Innovative Technology Solutions Department.
  • Provides guidance as needed to Corporate and field payroll personnel on the regulations which govern the administration of child support orders, federal tax levies, state tax levies, student loans, bankruptcies, creditor garnishments, etc.
  • Serves as back-up to Supervisor.
  • Assists in entering all court ordered deductions in the employee’s masterfile record.
  • Assists in forwarding payments to the proper authorities.
  • Guides and assists in the research of deduction and payment discrepancies.
  • Guides and assists in the maintenance of the garnishment files.




  • Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.
  • Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Company goals.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.
  • Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.




  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 
  • Five years of experience in related field is required.  




  • Strong knowledge and experience with Federal and State rules and regulations related to payroll and wage attachments.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.

  • Ten key by touch proficient.

  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment, familiar with modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment, as well as filing systems and business letter writing.
