Senior Operations Specialist, Strategic Account Engagement


We are currently seeking a Senior Operations Specialist, Strategic Account Engagement to join our team.


This position is responsible for helping propel internal workflow and experience efficiencies, leading to automated, integrated, and optimized marketing technology, digital capabilities, and team practices. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helps identify and orchestrate tasks, programs, and activities, removing impediments that block teams’ ability to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Guides the team on project management best practices as a servant leader.
  • Develops and maintains a strong competency in all end user tools and processes used in the Strategic Account Engagement workflow process.
  • Provides daily workflow facilitation, administration of tools, and troubleshoots as needed.
  • Drives and troubleshoots all lead routing activities with technology partners, including data quality of input, and clean-up of system output.
  • Maintains a solid understanding of MarTech tools and enterprise-wide operational efforts that may impact effectiveness of Strategic Account Engagement activity and metrics.
  • Sets an operating rhythm for reporting deliverables, monitoring status, and designing/delivering executive-friendly updates – both within Marketing & Business Development, Sales, and with partners in the broader company.
  • Works with Strategic Account Engagement leadership to develop, document, and maintain reporting requirements and operational processes.
  • Monitors tools and processes used by Strategic Account Engagement leadership and direct reports to provide guidance and direction as needed to achieve (and exceed) daily, monthly, and yearly performance targets. 
  • Serves as the main point of contact, owner, and coordinator of the flow of work from stakeholders to the Marketing & Business Development operations team.
  • Identifies and drives operational efficiencies by instituting and scaling common approaches and optimizations across Strategic Account Engagement.
  • Anticipates external and internal customer needs, assesses requirements, and identifies new solutions.
  • Owns the documentation of cross-functional process definitions, stakeholder, and workflows.
  • Communicates and trains relevant Strategic Account Engagement and Marketing & Business Development groups on process establishment and ongoing iterations.
  • Works with Strategic Account Engagement leadership to assist in the development and refinement of Sales Development Representative/Business Development Representative handoffs and feedback loops and campaign pilot programs.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, a related discipline, or four years of related work experience is required.
  • Five to seven years of Operations experience in Sales or a related field is required.
  • Direct experience in marketing and/or sales development, with operational highlights and B2B industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinker, process oriented, and highly organized with a growth mindset and is energized by scaling business impact.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Possesses core project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple or large projects in a cross-functional environment. 
  • Possesses a broad working knowledge of  Project Management frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate and influence others. 
  • Demonstrated success in a changing and high paced environment. 
  • Proven ability to work within Salesforce with knowledge of marketing automation and cadence communication tools.
  • Strong understanding of marketing/sales funnels, KPIs, and concepts. 
  • Ability to lead/manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Possesses a hands-on approach with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong business processes acumen, especially in documentation/mapping/management, plus change management and enablement.
  • Strong familiarity with marketing tools and infrastructure to facilitate planning and budgeting, demand gen processes and lead flow, operations, and workflow.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, in matrixed organization, with skill, attention to detail, tenacity, and a focus on results: macro/high-level and micro/detail-level.
  • Track record of engaging senior leadership and being a catalyst for change, while demonstrating prioritization.
  • Positive, proactive, self-starter with a transformational mindset, solid project management skills, and a knack for storytelling and a solutions orientation.
  • Empathetic relationship builder eager to navigate and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Ability to use multiple platforms for organizing, tracking, and reporting on key deliverables.
  • Tech-savvy marketer with exposure to digital marketing and its interdependence with marketing automation (exposure to Eloqua and other marketing technologies preferred).
